Teapot and Teacup Cookies

I made a number of different teapots and teacups for the Diva's Fashion Xchange this past Wednesday. They were a hit! They are sugar cookies with poured icing over them. I did several different designs to play around with. It was a great night and I met alot of great women in business!

Monday Morning

Looking at doing lots of cookies for the Women's Fashion Diva Show on Wednesday. Purses, dresses, shoes, etc. It is a monthly event where women from all different businesses get together and bring clothes, shoes and accessories that they no longer wear and swap 'em out! Everyone gets an opportunity to showcase their business. It's full of fun and good fellowship. If you live in the Orlando area, consider going!
Also, my cousin is getting her pin this week in Tennessee for Dental Hygiene, so I will be sending some tooth and toothbrush cookies her way! Ssshhhhh, don't tell her - it's a secret! Will post pics tomorrow!

Fun One!

I was asked to do a cake for and 18th birthday. The birthday girl loves socks and cell phones and I was asked what I could do to incorporate them together. This is what I came up with. I would not use the shimmer silver luster dust next time on the blackberry, it made it too shiny. I'm really starting to enjoy mmf!

Dozens of Easter Cookies

Easter! Bright colors and cute bunnies! I tried a different process with icing cookies. I cut fondant with the cookie cutter and covered, attaching with royal icing. It made it quite easy to decorate with the r.i. in different colors and tips. The box you see is filled with three dozen of the 7 dozen that I made. What fun!
